Q: What are the parking options?

A: Guests have two different parking options. If parking requires just over night, guests can park across the street on Randle Street, or Cooper Street that is around the corner from the next door pub.  Parking is free on both streets from 10 pm to 8 am. During the day, from 8 am to 6 pm, you must pay $4.70 per hour and $1.70 from 6 pm to 10 pm.

When parking requires more than one night, there is a private car park available on the corner of Elizabeth and Goulburn Streets. It cost from about $42~$60 per day during the week and $10~$15 per day on the weekend. The car parks are about ten minutes on foot to the hotel.

 

Q: Can I check in after office hours?

A: Check-in time is usually between 2 pm to 10 pm. However, Central Private Hotel(CPH) provides a late night check-in service for guests who arrive after 10 pm. For after hour check-in, please call 0433 500 455 when you arrive at the hotel front door.

 

Q: What is the earliest check-in time?

A: Check-in time is usually after 2 pm. However, check-in is available from 9 am if the room you’re checking into is ready to check-in. Please call before your arrival and we can let you know if your room is prepared. If your room is not available to check in before 2pm, we can store your luggage in our office until your check-in time.

 

Q: Is there a lift or handicap accessible ?

A: Central Private Hotel (CPH) does not have a lift as the hotel occupies an historical building. Our friendly staff can help guests carry any extra or heavy luggage to their room after check-in. We can also help guests carry luggage down to the ground floor during check-out. Please let us know if you require any further assistance or need more information regarding CPH.

Unfortunately, due to the building’s structure, CPH is handicap inaccessible. We recommend that guests who have difficulty climbing stairs find other accommodation. If guests do need help locating handicap accessible accommodation, please enquire with our friendly staff.

 

Q: Can you store our luggage before check-in or after check-out?

A: We provide luggage Storage Service for free. We can store your luggage in our office when you arrive the hotel early than check-in time. You can drop your bags off and head into town for a while instead waiting for check-in.  We can also store your bags when you have some spare time after check-out.  Please note that our ‘luggage storage service’ available only in same day by 10 pm as our office close at 10 pm.

 

Q: Do you provide Airport Shuttle Service?

A: Unfortunately, Central Private Hotel (CPH) does not provide an Airport Shuttle service. We recommend taking the Airport train service to Central Station as the trip takes about 20 minutes and costs only $12.60 for adults and $10.60 on concession. CPH is a short walk from two Central Station exits.
